Nakari Rios, a mechanical engineer, spent nearly a decade — from 2016 to 2025 — leading complex technical projects across telecommunications, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial manufacturing: mission-critical data centre infrastructure, HVAC control systems that secured 99.9% uptime in surgical and critical care zones, MEP integration and industrial automation for high-output production plants. Different industries, different countries — but the same pattern kept showing up. Brilliant technical teams burning their attention on fires that better systems should have caught first, in projects billed by the hour — a model that quietly rewards whoever moves the slowest.
